Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act

Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (28 C.F.R. Part 36) forbids places of public accommodation and commercial facilities from discriminating against its patrons on the basis of disability.  Claims can be as small as a failure to have an ADA-compliant ramp or bathroom, or they can involve 30 or more alleged ADA compliance violations, both inside and outside of a commercial building. For many years, The Firm has represented property owners, landlords, tenants, and all types of Florida business enterprises in the defense of Title III-ADA claims brought in federal court.
